Xiaomi Mi5 will come with a locked bootloader

Xiaomi's official website, dedicated to the MIUI, employees of the company published a list of questions and answers related to the new flagship smartphone Mi5 . Thus, it became known that the device will come with a locked bootloader. This is done for the purpose of security of personal data and the smartphone search capabilities through service Mi Cloud if it is lost or stolen. The company is confident that the majority of ordinary users do not need this function. At the same time enthusiasts will be able to use the app Mi the Unlock , to unlock the boot loader, if necessary.
