Skycure They found dangerous vulnerability in Android

Company Skycure, which deals with security of mobile platforms, announced a new virus that affects more than 500 million Android-devices. Breaking devices is performed through Click-Jacking - a method by which a conventional Web site to create a transparent frame, clicking on which to run malicious code. Click-Jacking allows hackers to steal user text information, such as SMS and email, as well as to interfere with the operating system, up to delete all information on the device.


The vulnerability affects all devices with Android versions from 2.2 to 4.4 inclusive. In order for your device is safe, Skycure recommends urgently upgrade to Android 5.0 and above, where the vulnerability has been fixed. Also, do not use third-party stores and install suspicious applications. Android users to version 4.4, check if there are any such suspicious programs in the settings menu "Security" → "Device Administrators".
