At the end of last year the Finnish company Riots Global went on Kickstarter with his project titled Riots. Novelty is a universal system for the Internet of things. It consists of several modules that are designed for different tasks. The distinguishing feature of this system is that during its construction, users can use virtually unlimited number of items.
Riots consists of a central board ("mother"), and peripheral boards ("children"). The motherboard is connected to the power supply and the Internet, then it is possible to connect the daughter boards.
Feature of the development is that the "children" may be responsible for a variety of tasks. These may be sensors, controllers, actuators, and other devices, depending on user preference. Developers already have ready-made solutions for the control of air, temperature and other parameters of the room. Manage the system will be built through a Web interface.
During the campaign on Kickstarter, which aims to collect $ 30 000 users can purchase the easiest Riots kit for only $ 39. Deliveries of pre-ordered set to begin in May 2016.
