Sony Xperia Z5 starts getting Android Marshmallow worldwide

Earlier this month, Sony launched an update newsletter to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Sony Xperia Z5 in Japan. Now the update can get users Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium all over the world, including from Russia. Interestingly, Sony updates smartphones to version Android 6.0, rather than 6.0.1, which currently is the most recent public release of the operating system.

Upgrade to Android 6.0 will bring to the Sony Xperia Z5 Doze power saving mode, and general fixes and improvements. Holders Z5 line devices should check for updates on your smartphone.
