Google releases security update for the Nexus line of devices

Google has released yet another security update for the Nexus line of devices. After installing the firmware number remains unchanged: Android 6.0.1 or Android 5.1.1 in the case of devices that have not received Marshmallow, like the Nexus 10. This update does not contain any new features, but its installation is highly recommended, as Google regularly closes vulnerability in its operating system.



Updates will soon be available "over the air", but now everyone can download the firmware image and install it manually:

  • Nexus 5 (MMB29V) ;
  • 5X the Nexus (MMB29V) ;
  • Nexus 6 (MMB29V) ;
  • 6P the Nexus (MMB29V) ;
  • Nexus 9 (MMB29V) ;
  • Nexus July 2013 (MMB29V) ;
  • Nexus 10 (LMY49H) ;
  • C Pixel (MXC14G) ;
  • Player Get the Nexus (MMB29V) .

On the official website Android already published a detailed report on the changes in the March security update. Watch for the release of new firmware can be on site for developers.
