Today it became known that the company will introduce a new 9.7-inch iPad Pro at the event, which will take place on March 15 and it will begin shipping on March 18th.
The new model of iPad Pro will have almost the same features as the tablet with a larger diagonal. Besides, the novelty will receive a display that supports Apple Pencil, and stereo speakers. It is already known that the 9.7-inch iPad will have Smart Connector. Currently, the company is also working on an accessory Smart Keyboard for this device.
9.7-inch iPad Pro will be available in the same colors and the same storage options as the 12.9-inch model, but the cost will be closer to the price on the iPad Air.
Launch of the new iPad will be the beginning of the Pro iPad line reduction. Apple gradually slows down the production of the original iPad mini and iPad Air, which means that the release of iPad mini and iPad Air 2 of the first generation will be terminated simultaneously with the launch of the new iPad Pro.
